Recommendations to Parents

  1. Parents should study the regulations about absence from the school carefully and observe them faithfully.
  2. Parents/Guardians are earnestly requested to enforce regularity and discipline at home and see to it that their children prepare their lessons and do the assigned home work and have fixed time for study.
  3. Parents should not visit the classes or interview teachers during school hours except after obtaining the approval of the Principal.
  4. Criticism of a child’s teacher on school in the presence of the students should be studiously avoided because it causes the students to lose their respect of the teacher.
  5. Withdrawal of your child from the classes for social functions is not permitted, because it retards the child’s progress in school and minimizes his/her respect for regular and hard work, with consequent failure to progress in his/her studies.
  6. Any communication, request or complaint made by the parents/Guardians should be addressed personally to the Principal or the Headmistress.
  7. Ordinary communications to Parents will be made through the child’s school calendar.
  8. Pupils are responsible for the safe custody of their books and belongings.
  9. We will strictly follow the holidays and class days as given in the school calendar. If there is any change due to unforeseen circumstances it will always be communicated through information sent to you through the children or notice board.
  10. All the decision regarding the governing of the school is the exclusive right of the school authority. Hence the students have no say in the administration of the school, and any act of indiscipline, insubordination, interference in school administration, disrespect to any teacher, religion or community by any student shall not be tolerated.
  11. The school Calendar has to be maintained well. A student has to bring it to the school every day. If one loses it he/she should obtain permission and buy a new Calendar immediately.
  12. Parents retain their obligation in the education of their children even though they are entrusted to the care of the school authority. The support and co-operation of the parents/guardians are considered indispensable to the success of our education effort in the school.
  13. Parents are requested to co-operate with the school authorities by regularly checking the students’ school calendar, keeping the following important points in mind:
    • The language used by the students should be polite.
    • By making sure that their wards are regular and punctual in attendance.
    • Check their homework
    • Insist neatness, personal cleanliness, appearance and maintenance of the text books and exercise books.
    • Counter sign the report cards, test copies and note to parents.
